We want to be able to keep you guys up to date with what is happening around Mr Simple, so what better way than to start a blog.

This will showcase everything that we are a part of – collaborations, events, music showcases, projects, photo journals, people we indorse and appreciate and everything that Mr Simple associates around the life of the brand.

It’s only fitting that we kick off our blog with the Glass Animals.

Hailing from Oxford in England, the four band members – Dave, Drew, Edmund and Joe have been mates since an early age and it’s completely reflective in their performances. Their style is relentlessly groovy.

Their success in 2014 hasn’t just occurred, they have created a unique sound through EP’s such as Leaflings, Glass Animals and Gooey which then saw them play shows across the Globe, supporting everyone and selling out their own live shows.

Luckily for us they were in Australia and stopped in to our HQ for a chat and a visit. We spoke about their love for the Australian sound, in particular the Tame Impala / Pond movement, to Flume and Chet Faker and how they were all quite heavy influences of their sound.

They hinted at their return to Australia and hopefully it does come sooner rather than later. Fingers crossed.

Their debut album produced by Paul Epworth (who has produced pretty much everyone you can think of) has just been put up on there site to stream and it’s everything that you want. It again has a unique name like everything that Glass Animals do – it is called Zaba. The album moves from here to there effortlessly with such style.

You can stream the album in all its glory on their site –
