A Journey through Yosemite National park
Yosemite National park in California is one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever been. The scenery in like none I’ve seen before. It’s as if the landscape is a snapshot into the very distant past, a time before humans, when nature lie undisturbed and unsullied. We hiked in an area called Tuolme quite a distance east from the much more well known Yosemite Valley. We scored amazing vistas of prehistoric valleys, jagged peaks and glacial lakes. We even caught a glimpse of the famous Half Dome, albeit from a different perspective than usual. This particular hike took 10 hours and covered 24km and 2000m vertical. A journey well worth it.
