Inspired by Australian tiki bar culture and rural workwear, 1960s–1970s.
The structured mesh-back cap became a fixture across Australian rural and agricultural communities in the 1970s — a practical, breathable option for outdoor work in the summer heat. At the same time, tiki culture had taken hold in Australian leisure venues, offering a dose of Polynesian escapism to the working man at the end of a long week.
The Tiki Trucker Cap brings both ideas together. Stone organic cotton herringbone twill front panels carry the embroidered “Mr Simple’s Island Escape – Jacoby’s Tiki Bar” patch, while a fatigue mesh back keeps airflow moving through the day. A structured crown and snapback closure sit clean and secure from the job site to the bar.
