NEW HORIZONS
There’s something to be said for new horizons. Today, as I walked new lines on familiar ground, with the prospect of familiar lines on unfamiliar ground, a wave of excitement washed over me. The body reacts in the same way to excitement as it does anxiety… I choose it to be excitement.
The past few days I haven’t thought at all. Simply, lived. That’s what you do when you feel like you are where you are supposed to be. You just, do. Not thinking of time, or space, or whether life is where it is supposed to be. You’re just living because life is fun.
I don’t know whether this is the answer to it all or just the body telling me it needed a break from all the thinking but it felt nice just to ‘be’ for a while… maybe that is what life on the road is supposed to be like. Maybe that is what life is supposed to be like – free. Freedom – from thought, from judgment, self-criteria and critic. To just ‘be’ in the moment.
To, just, be.
