SPLENDOUR IN THE GRASS
This year Mr Simple marks it’s third year at the annual event and we couldn’t be happier.
We are again located in the heart of the retail district – the super cool Very Small Mall sharing the stage with Dr Martens, Levis as well as The Iconic who are presenting Hunter gumboots.
There are local acts Spell Design for the girls as well as a couple of other fun pop ups.
For the third year, we wanted to go beyond previous, so we bought a shipping container, decked out the inside, ripped off a wall and replaced it with glass and gave it a new lick of paint. Here are some rolling shots throughout the process.

Humble beginnings in the yard at HQ.
The initial fit out structure gets built.

The black exterior paint is whacked on, electrical and lighting is put in.

If you haven’t already purchased a ticket then head over to their site and pick on up – the Amphitheater main stage looks unbelievable, there is more food and beverage options than I have ever seen and the location is first class.
