Before supermarkets standardised everything, Australia's corner stores, greengrocers and general goods shops each had their own character. Hand-lettered signage, a mascot, a simple promise — Fresh. Quality. The kookaburra sat in the gum tree outside and didn't care either way.
The Kooka Pop-Up Reginald Tee puts Mr Simple's mascot to work in that tradition. A cartoon kookaburra in a bucket hat — relaxed, opinionated, entirely Australian — anchors a back graphic that reads like a shopfront sign. Fresh Quality Goods. Est. Melbourne 2008.
