Mr Simple : The Volcanic Mid-Tones of Australia
Turning off the main road, the adventure began. Tires buzzing on corrugations, the volcanic dust rose behind us in a frenzy as the Land Rover darted about in an effort to find its feet. Gradually over the horizon the wild coastal landscape unveiled Toumbaal Plains, a unique building that echoes the tones and texture of the surrounding landscape.
This first home designed by Fergus Scott Architects began with a simple, yet open brief; to withstand the harsh Australian elements and to be built cost effectively by local builders. After it’s successful completion, it was awarded the prestigious Wilkinson Award for excellence in architecture.
Our Spring and Summer 2016 collections reflect the wild landscape’s that surrounds us. Earthy tones are balanced out by crisp whites and classic darks. Natural fabric choices such as linen, organic cotton, and hemp make this our most curated and eco-friendly collection to date. We are proud to present a collection that sees us embrace change and continue moving in a positive direction.
